A hand carved and hand printed linocut of the cycle route - King Alfred’s Way. (350km)
Me and 2 friends cycled this fantastic cycle route in June this year. I have made this small linocut map of some of the places one can pass on the route. We started in Fleet and took 4 days to cycle the route, staying in youth hostels (and a lovely pub for the last night)
We cycled on the South Downs, the devils punch bowl, over Salisbury plain, Stonehenge, Avebury, the Ridgeway, Goring on Thames, reading and then back to Fleet. Phew. Great cycle ride.
The linocut is 20cm x 15cm, hand printed onto larger very nice 300gsm acid free paper.
