25 years ago (this weekend) The Tamworth Two escaped from the old abattoir in Malmesbury. The pigs (named Butch and Sundance) were on the run for more than a week, and the search for them caused a huge media sensation. I have painted this small canvas painting for the 25 anniversary of their amazing and wonderful escape. I remember it was so weird being in Malmesbury with all the international news stations reporting the story. Mad little town!
